Cardtype: Action modifier / Combat
Cost: 1 blood
Capacity:
Discipline: potence
Clan:
[pot] [action modifier] Play after a successful D action that requires Potence, or after a combat resulting from a blocked D action that requires Potence after which the opposing minion is no longer ready. Enter combat with a locked minion controlled by the target of the action.
[POT] [combat] Press
Flavor text: A rolling stone might just become a landslide.
Art notes: The vampire from the art of Rampage slams his hammer against a vampire. It should try to catch the motion that comes from a continued swing.
World of Darkness reference:
How does this card address a compelling game need?:
Potence lacks a rush card. Their actions rarely see play either. With this potence gains a rush effect dependant on other rarely played cards.
The full list of D actions that require potence according to Secret Library at the moment:
Brick Laying
Brutal Influence
Goblinism
Horseshoes
Make the Misere
Rampage
Show of Force
Smash and Grab
This card is more like an idea than a real suggestion at this point, because it does have a strong effect, and more importantly might restrict the future design space of potence actions.
The most influential cards on the above list in my opinion are Show of Force and Brutal Influence, as they are bleed actions (bleed and rush with one vampire, one action and two cards might be very strong) and Make the Misere (double rush). Horseshoes is not problematic in here as it’s uses are limited anyways.
