Put this card in play and you can burn any cards named Dreams of the Sphinx (if any, even if contested). You can only lock this card by burning the edge. You can lock this card to get +3 hand size until the end of the turn. You can lock this card to add 3 blood or life to a minion you control. You can lock this card during your influence phase to gain +3 transfers. Burn this card if it is locked.

Art notes: A powerful vampire that is sitting in a throne or in a commanding pose (may be linked to egyptian theme due to Dreams of the Sphinx).

World of Darkness reference: None but can be found by links to powerful vampire (such as Cain).

How does this card address a compelling game need?: Having found the difference in deckbuilding between blood dool vs vessel quite interesting, the idea came of making a similar concept to another master card duo. Dreams of the Sphinx (DoS) is a unique and powerful mastercard, overtly used due to its low cost, versatility and powerful effects, so another card that reduced its impact in the game would fit this idea. It would make deckbuilding more interesting since players would have to consider if their DoS would be burned by this card.

Dreams of the Pharaoh (DoF) is the analog "vessel" in that it is a trifle and it can optionally burn any DoS. It works similarly yet differently to DoS, and has a higher cost to work (in this case not from pool which is still 1, but the fact you need to have and burn the edge to use it and only works once). The card needs to be powerful to be comparable to DoS and also have some versatility to maintain the similar flavour:
  1. DoS gives +2 hand size when used for the turn while DoF gives +3 hand size for the turn. Alternatively it could give +3 hand size until the next unlock phase (this would require testing to balance or even tweak numbers)
  2. DoS gives 1 blood to uncontrolled when used while DOF can give +3 transfers for acceleration (numbers may need tweaking).
  3. DoS gives 1 pool if you have the edge when used while DOF can give 3 blood or life to a minion you control (helping out ally decks as well giving more options but numbers may need tweaking).
