How does this card address a compelling game need?: This is a bleed card for animalism that is dependent on the number of retainers a minion has. I have capped it at 3 pool loss at maximum so as not to make it overpowered. It is to be used in animalism decks that like to have some retainers to have more options of getting VPs. If it is a star deck with lots of retainers it would not bleed for more than 3 anyway.
The most important aspect is it has another effect. The superior burn 3 pool by burning a retainer. It is a way to do pool damage in animalism decks when there is too many bounces on the table. It is not an easy feat because you need to equip with an animal retainer first (usually they cost 1 or more blood) and then you need to do this action costing 1 blood and sacrifice the retainer. For combos like Kuyen that costs 1 less, this card may be too strong though so perhaps 2 pool burn would be more appropriate instead but only playtesting would tell.
