Compromise on Villein

Dammit, a reply got eaten. From memory -

Using villein does not give you extra card slots. 90 cards is 90 cards. You get to play a villein as a trifle. Alternately you could always play Parthenon and Minion Taps for similar effect, with the added bonus that Parthenon doesn't care if you draw the trifle after playing your master.

Your argument seems to be either:

"Villein is much better than Minion Tap." To which the answer is "ok, play villein if you think so"

or

"Villein has made big cap decks more viable." To which the answer is "good"

or

"Villein is difficult to get hold of" if that's the case for you, and there is zero chance of you borrowing/buying/trading for more, then "use analogous cards (like MT), in the same way that people have always done when they haven't got the exact card they want."*

*when I say you, I don't mean you specifically, just whichever hypothetical "new player" you're posting to help

None of these 3 reasons is anywhere near justification for issuing a ban.

He seems to have a very fine understanding as far as I am concerned.

I know him from IRC and played against him at the last EC. He's a fine guy and good v:tes-player.
