I had been thinking about something similar, but without restricting what goes in the deck.
Might be an awful idea; even if it's ok, it clearly needs some work :
Players are only ousted if they have zero pool AND no ready minions. Bleeds against a player with 0 pool have no effect (or perhaps they should burn 1 card from the library for each point of pool loss beyond zero).
Also might want to lower the starting pool to 25 or 20. Otherwise, the ousting condition above is harder to achieve than in a regular game.

We got "field test" of it on 2-nd round and our ugliest combat (Pasek wall) was overrun.
Kirill was playing mind numbs, so u need to draw intersept for the block, grapple for ScE, and all of it 3 times in a row for each of ready minions.
Weenie combat is much harder, thou, but in such situation our champion uses hypnotic table talk abilities.
