What means Engling Fury? was created by Joscha
Topic says it all. I couldn't find it in the dictionary (engling, not fury
).

Its the Spiritus level 4 power from the rpg, in that you basically drain the essence of animal spirits to regain willpower. Engling iirc was a type of spirit in the WoD rpg.

It might also come from the word engle (to cajole, to coax) so it would be "coaxing fury".

Thank you guys. Lemmi, you wrote "might". Maybe a native speaker can confirm that translation?

I'll ask Laurie as he might have a proper OED lying around.
I get the feeling though Joscha that the word might have Germanic roots?

Well, "engling" is certainly a possible form of the word "engle" but that doesn't rule out the possibility of Klaital's explanation, for example, being right (if there indeed was spirits called englings in the oWoD, I can't remember).
