Here in Helsinki we've been running the event annually around 12 years or so. I think the player who originally devised the format was J Tuomas Harviainen.
After he moved to Turku he also got the locals there into using the format.

Shots for ante, in the same fashion as in the Easter Egg Hunt format might work.
But my original idea has been revolving around giving a handicap for more succesful players in format of drinks they have to consume when their prey loses pool. Say, a 1 cl of alcohol (a quarter of a shot) for each pool the prey loses.
Even with such a low alcohol amount I assume that the cumulative amount of alcohol would be quite big resulting in serious state of drunkeness, that is, people being totally shitfaced. It think ousting a serious bloater would be hard work...
You might also want to play such a game in a place with tiled/plastic floor or at least cover the floor with those big ass plastic garbage bags for more convenient cleaning

Heh, I've occasionally been toying with the idea of coming up with a VTES drinking game format. And by candy eggs, you mean vodka shots?

Once again a topical format.
Also, new info from the recent event discussion at the Finnish VTES FB-site.
Harviainen revealeed that the father of the format wasn't actually him but Jussi N. Shocking!
