I still feel top seed enables you to play a different game all around at final table.
as a side note, I don't think I've ever seen bell do anything other than try to take the whole table in a final, unless he had absolutely no way of doing it. I've seen players try to just play with those seed and perceived game state at finals and fail, and I've seen players play the table with success, but the way finals should go, and the most definate way to win seems to be playing the cards and the table in perfect synergy without relying on your seed.
easier said than done, and girls decks are tactically opposite that style, but that style is the root of what vtes should be based on the game and the Canon.
I've seen tables end with strange results due to players not fully playing like that.

Yes totally with you jugular is my preferred option
I have records of ~107 finals i've been in (missing a few) and i've received 0.5, 1.5 or 2.5 in 17 of those finals.
