Information on Tournaments / Events in Northeast US

I'm a player who is just getting into the tournment aspect of the game, and I haven't seen a lot of information on any tournmanets, events etc. in my part of the world (Toronto specifically). I'd be willing to drive a few hours (or more possibly) to get to a tournement, but the only thing I see posted in the calender seems to be the National Championships.

I just happened to hear about Templecon (happening this weekend), and when I searched on this site, the only information is about last's year winning decks.

Perhaps I am missing something, but as a new player, it would be helpful if this information was more readily available.
