Good evening Antediluvians

I would like to know if the world ranking will come back to be published on VEKN.NET.

I keep sending the Archon Ranking to Robyn and I do not see the need to send if it will not be published.

I am the Sao Paulo Prince and I already make a Play Group Ranking Locally , based on the official rules.

According to this recent news, the VTES ranking will be fully operational on the 5th of May:

The team working on the new rating integration with Archon upload functionality has now fixed a date for public release, which will be Sunday May 5th. This will not only include the website functionality, but also a (required) new version of The Archon and some detailed use guidelines.


Note that if you click on Player Rergistry , you will see a list of players sorted according to their current ranking. That's because a few National Coordinators have been testing the modules involved.

The new system works so everyone uploads their Archons to vekn.net by themselves.

Easy, convenient and without any kind of bureaucracy.
Except that National Coordinators will have to approve each uploaded Archon from their country.

But basically the whole burden won't fall on one pair of shoulders any more.

Emilio probably knows exactly but here's at least some sort of answer:

I've never run a 2+F tournament so can't really say but there has been several new versions recently so if you haven't yet uploaded Archon 1.4c 1.5a, I suggest you do so and check.

Sure the archon version in download section provided as "beta mode" (currently 1.5a which is the version that will be required for upload/ranking system) works with 2r +f (i've used new version from 1.4x on with 2+f tournament during testing and all was fine)
