Who owns the rights VTES at the moment?

CCP owns white wolf, and thus stuff based on thier material.

Wotc/hasbro owns jyhad/the deckmaster brand, so they basically own the ip of the card game, chiefly the tap mechanic, as outlined in Garfields patton on the deckmaster brand cardgames.

Vekn needs both wotc and ccp agreeing in principle to push forward with thier plans.

If you read the news from the printshop thread, the basics are since there isnt alot of internal revenue for wotc or ccp, thier lawyers havent gotten around to it yet is the best assumption of whats happening. And other than promoting vtes, theres not much we can due to speed it along. If anyone nags the parties, we may end up with nothing ever.

Point of clarification: the V:EKN isn't in business talks with Hasbro (Wizards) and CCP (White Wolf) - Onebookshelf.com (DriveThruRPG.com) is.
