Recently, Fantasy Flight Games was in negotiations to get the licenses to make V:TES, but pulled out.


Wow, that could have been interesting. When were the negotiations going on? Really too bad they pulled out


It's not clear when FFG was negotiating with Wizards and CCP, or why they pulled out of negotiations. All that's known for certain is that on March 14, FFG definitively stated on BoardGameGeek that they are not working on V:TES at all:
