The artists create crypt portraits with the expectation that there is the boundary of the oval "cutout" in the clan background art. Here are some examples:

They look great! We'd need to get the artists to fix up some of the portrait ovals that are clipping into the corners.
Ben, do you mean, that some portraits have been delivered already as chopped? Could you clarify a little?
Thanks.

These look awesome! Any possibility of having an (alternate?) official layout for Danse Macabre & Unaligned, using these, some time down the line?

Thank you, this is exactly what I was wondering.

Banging trashcans, breaking windows
We'll wake you up tonight
We like the good time, we scream and shout
And that's what fun's about

The most accurate answer I can give is "definite maybe". We would need to get some of the artists to do touch-up work with respect to the corners where the border oval clips in. We would also need to do some field testing for user experience and see how people feel about mixed crypts of normal and full-bleed cards. The template also needs some adjustments.

Rulewise, I see no reason why these wouldn't be usable, except, pehraps, some loss in clarity (cards of the same clan have ths same background and are easily spotted).
