Well, if paying 4 pool and two actions (recruit+equip) for someone who can bleed for a whole 1 is considered a reasonable deal in your neck of the woods, knock yourself out. You should team Talaq up with Mehemet

Most other places, however, there are much better things to spend pool, actions, and card slots on.

If you move Robert Carter to Talaq somehow, Talaq gets no bleed bonus from him because Talaq is not a vampire.

If you move Robert Carter to Talaq somehow, Robert burns during your next untap phase, because Talaq has no blood to burn (not being a vampire), the same as an empty vampire can't burn blood.
