Cards with errata / migrated card text

Hello all,

As you may be aware, I've been putting together a New Players' Section on my blog that will eventually migrate to VEKN, and I've run into an interesting problem. I want to include a list of all cards that have received errata (like Majesty, Army of Rats, 2nd Tradition, etc). I often see these changes referred to as "card text migrations" rather than errata. Does anybody know why? Is that the official phrasing (and should I use it)?

But more importantly, does anybody have a comprehensive list of cards that have received errata? I would love to just have a list so that a new player who just purchased a box of VTES or Jyhad cards can go to the list and see which cards they need to worry about and which are safe. Anyway, if anybody could point me to a list, I would greatly appreciate it - it would save me the time of going through all my VTES cards and seeing which are different from their new text. LSJ tended to distinguish slightly between:

- functional card text changes that were made by errata in a Rules Team Ruling (or similar), and
- functional card text changes that were made when a new set was printed and the card was printed with new text.

In particular, some players over the years have expressed an extremely strong dislike of not being able to use any card that has the right card text for a card, even if it involves buying singles from a new set. So, so far I could tell, he moved towards errata-without-reprint being used quite sparingly during White Wolf's tenure. LSJ also, so far I could tell, didn't care so much about cards that had slight wording changes (e.g. updating to a more recent 'template') without changing the card's actual functionality.

As to the official names, it doesn't really matter.

Thanks, that helps a lot. But do you (or anybody) have a list of the cards that have been changed? I don't need the new card text (that's super easy to look up), I would just like a list of cards that people should be careful of. Thanks again!

Well, now that the forums are back up, I've been putting together a list of cards that have been changed for the new player section, and I'd appreciate some help with it. Please let me know which cards I've missed! Oh, and I should note that I'm only including cards with a substantive change, and excluding cards that have simply had their text changed to make it more clear what it does (otherwise I'd include almost every Jyhad card on the list!). Thanks for your help!
