Could I get an invite to the discord? I am a potential new player trying to learn 2-player V:TES (also interested in multiplayer). I have some questions that I would prefer to ask in a more conversational setup. Thanks.

2-player vtes is not recommended.
3 player is slightly less an abomination.
4 or 5 is the player range you want to use!

Seconded. It's not made for two players.
I learned how to play with only one other players, and a lot of concepts are lost when your prey is your predator, bounces don't work, etc.

This is a myth. Two-player VTES is great on its own terms with a different approach to deck building (ie, building two decks that can counter each other well). Many of the concepts that are lost playing unblinded decks in 2 player are the same concepts that people have spent many words complaining about on these forums. House rules can be made to make cards that don't normally work be functional (bounce cards reduce the bleed to 1, KRC can assign all 4 points to the opposing minion, etc.)

It's a different game than that with 4 or 5 players for sure, but it's by no means a worse game.
