file Do reflex cards actually need to be a card type?

Cant speak for fae contortion, but :abo: cancels ANY frenzy card.

7. Reflex cards: A minion can play a reflex card to cancel a specified kind of card played against him as it is played.

one couldn't, for example, use :abo: to cancel cards cross-table due to the limitations on how reflex cards are played. Im not sure if this was even a point you were arguing, though.

Rotschreck, Brujah Frenzy, Frenzy, that Osebo master oot, enrage, etc all count.

rotschreck, battle frenzy, and frenzy are all played during combat and thus a combat card could conceivably have the same effect.

As for Brujah Frenzy, I'm unsure of the amount of brujah with :abo: or how frequently it or Enrage see play, so you've got me there.

Also, you cant Death Seeker my Taking the Skin: Minion I play reflexively to cancel your Rotschreck.

a fair point there. However the whole concept seems profoundly corner-case to me. I'd honestly advocate opening up the card type to give minions things to do than just cancel cards, like say, gain votes during a blood hunt.

why can't the 'cancel a grapple card' clause just be a combat cardtype instead of reflex? From what i can tell no grapple cards are played outside of combat.

The only card that i can find that is a frenzy card thats played on another vampire and isn't played during combat is 'Enrage.'
