Works fine in my meta, so what the hell are people playing in yours?

I regularly play auspex decks with 3-5 bounces and plenty of ES+intercept.I dont want to go down this road to far but...
Take out the 12 + bounce and play auspex heavy decks. See how it goes.

But I don't feel the need to pack 12 bounces, is my point.

I see. I was referring to auspex and the win con of bouncing. Take that out and mono auspex is not viable.
As far as bounce numbers, that's what u do when people play focused bleed decks.

I’ll usually try another route first, like heavy intercept, bleed reduction, or rush combat.
Massive bounces are boring.
And of course mono auspex can’t oust without bounces. That’s the whole idea of mono auspex...
The discipline is suited for intercept and information gathering. Now, it wouldn’t break with source material or reason to add bleed power, but you’d basically just have Dominate++, which exacerbates things.

It may be what you do, but not what I do.

Yes, It's above all a question of what people in your group play.
If you have reasons to expect huge bleed, then pack a lot of bounce.
If you expect many voting decks, or decks that require setup via equip, recruit or employ actions, then intercept is mostly better.
You are right that Telepathic Misdirection is great, mostly because it has in fact a very low opportunity cost.
I was just saying that intercept in general is great. If you haven't tried Ahrimanes, I recommend that you try. Spiritus+Animalism intercept modules have proven their worth time and time again.
[Edit]
Actually, not taking teleMisdir into account (nor arguably My enemy's enemy), Spiritus is basically a better version of Auspex. Though not many vampires can use it, which is actually the point, I guess.
Also, if you bounce, the new target might also bounce, which is often not in your best interest (in less you have DI to cancel her bounce).
So just blocking will stop the bleed without giving offensive possibilities to your prey.
