Would have been good to mention in the new rule book that Thaumaturgy and Blood Sorcery are the same which i believe they are.

V5 CSV files have been updated: the value in the columns for the Disciplines were wrong for the new vampires, leading to errors in the deck builders that use them.

For Blood Sorcery and Thaumaturgy, the abbreviation will be [tha] for both.
The term "Blood Sorcery" will be used for V5 sets and onward, not legacy cards.

So... If I understand correctly, it is still "Thaumaturgy" and "tha" in the card lists despite it being renamed to "Blood sorcery" in the V5 rulebook? Will this cause confusion?

Wait, what ? You won't just replace all tha with blood sorcery ? You won't realign icons to match their new name ? That's kind of stupid, especially as vampires in v5 already have their disciplines ordered wrong (tremere should have from top to bot AUS BLO DOM, not AUS DOM BLO).
Sabbat.Black Hand Shakar: Lech loathe ranged weapons. Once each action, he may burn 1 blood to become Camarilla Prince of Krakow until the end of the action.

Thank you Vincent. Sorry to continue with the nitpicking: can you then confirm that Thaumaturgy and Blood Sorcery, both abbreviated [tha], are one and the same discipline?
For example, will a future vampire with the ability "Cards requiring Blood Sorcery cost this vampire 1 less blood" be able to pay Magic of the Smith - a Thaumaturgy card - for free?
If this is the case (as I think your answer implies), it would be really important that this be specified somewhere official (future versions of the rulebook? RTR?), in particular to avoid confusing new (or returning) players.
