What To Do With Newly Created Players

I sell a lot of decks sets for beginners, and, increasingly, people who have never played the game before are buying them. They come and ask me for strategy guides and what not. So this seems like a marketing opportunity. How do you handle these newly created players?

Point them at the things that exist.

Perhaps V:EKN should be considering consolidating and re-formatting these resources so that new players & potential investors could see everything here.

I would suggest a few things:

1) Direct people to this website. There is a whole community of people who would love to help new players. There may be players in their area they don't know about, so the player registry is a good resource to people who are starting out.

2) Direct the player to the strategy section at thelasombra.com .

3) Save the emails as fodder for companies that might be interested in buying the rights to the game.
