Correct, Eric. However the chairman is elected and can be given the boot AND the chairman (well I) will certainly not insist on any person having a specific IC position against the opposition of a majority of the NCs.

According to Johannes (in his response to you Lönkka), IC members are not elected. They are appointed by the chairman.

Indeed, my bad -didn't actually take time to check this before answering and just remembered it wrong.
