Short thoughts about M.D. in VEKN

“The V:tES doesn’t exist without the Community, the Community doesn’t exist without the Game”

1. The most important thing for the M.D. is to serve the Community. The Players are the most important. Strong Community is the key to future growth. The plans, projects etc should include expectations of Players and focus on the better future of the Game and Community

2. Listen and conclude. Simply.

3. Transparency for the better solutions.

4. Do the impossible.

This simply ideas/sentences are very close to me. I always tried to do all the best - first for my local players (as a Prince), then for my beloved polish players (as a NC).

Now it’s time to move on. Do something what was my dream for many, many years.

Maybe for some of You it’s funny or irrelevant what I wrote but I am here to change it.
I am here to put all my efforts and engage all my skills to make the world of our beloved Game more interesting and fun. I can do it.
With help of my friend Michal “Migalart” Kazmierczak, together we will create something new and something (we think so) important for everyone who ever played V:tES or want to.

Give us some credit. Be open for our ideas. Stay focus on the game. Be ready for changes. Expect more fun. Be part of our Community. Simply.

I would also like to welcome You, and introduce myself.


I am 34 years old. I live in Poland, I am a prince of Katowice.
I have started playing Vtes around 1998 (can’t remember exactly).
In a “real life” I have more than 10 years of experience in sales and marketing.
I am a Sales Director in one of Polish companies in energetic sector.
I have master degree and I have finished Executive MBA studies in USA (University of Illinois)
I have several years of experience as a leader in small not profit organization based around ultima-online.

I am very excited to have a chance to contribute myself for Vtes community.

Why did I decide to be here?

1) After so many years I still love playing this game
2) I believe the whole idea of the game has a potential to become more popular.
3) In my opinion this game simply deserves to be more popular, and I would be happy to contribute to this.
4) I think that VEKN is the best organizations with the highest competences to continue VTES heritage, as long as the proper holder of copy rights will not officially republish the game.

Now it is time to work , but we still need some time to define our roles, etc

As a specialty volunteer, what are your measurable goals? When are your deadlines? How will the players evaluate your effort compared to volunteers in the past?

First of all we (Szewski & Me) had to set up rules of cooperation between both of us and communicte it to the community. I believe we have agreed on many important issues. Proper annoucement will be prepared by us together. What is important at the moment is that we have found areas of activities for both of us.
