While this is annoying if it is what it looks like, it makes me wonder: is there really a market for a new vtes book? Ive never touched the old books, but surely, metagame has evolved globally and a new book should include imbued, girls/mmpa, summon history, and decks including deep songs and eyes of argus that are popular archetypes. Info could be based on twd as well as archetypes that commonly make finals that arent as "dominant" as other atuff (basically tier 2). And whats more is if someone commonly viewed as knowledgeable wrote it, or a combination of people/players/organizers, its easy to imagine drive thru rpg would be willing to print it and sell it.

Again, all assuming there is actual demand.

This book is definitely a scam. Betascript (and a few other print on demand imprints) collect Wikipedia articles that are creative commons and sell them as expensive books.

While it is true that there aren't enough Wikipedia pages about VtES to fill the 100 or so pages, the book will contain all the pages that the entry links to, and then some. Pages on White Wolf, Magic the Gathering, Inquest Gamer, and Richard Garfield will help fill the book. And if the Richard Garfield wiki page says he once picked his nose in church, there will be pages about churches and nosepicking in your VtES book.

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice...
