I have already stated elsewhere that Haqim's Law: Retribution is overpowered. When Gangrel or Banu Haqim decks will start dominating are you going also to request nerfs? Because it's probably what's going to happen.

Preach it brother Lech! <3
Also it is good to remember that playing your own game instead of reactionary "I'll pack at least the most common hosers" will most likely score you more points.

I call bullshit on this one. Master heavy decks are not good for the game, and quite frankly no combination of cards should give more than two masters in one master phase, including trfles.

Can we go back to the Anson template and play this game as Richard Garfield intended?

I wouldn't say that the Girls deck is so so big problem. I can't point the finger at any single thing, it's the combination of things that makes that deck strong. Liquidation is certainly not the main problem. The deck is strong, but any slightly rush/combat-oriented deck can cut it. The new Brujah and Banu Haqim precons can crush it easily.
But yes, MMPA is just very annoying and kills the charm of the game. Limiting the number of phases would help I guess, but I'm not sure it's necessary, especially now.
On the other hand, Legionnaires are the problem. Primarily because they can be played in any archetype, as Bill Troxel has been showing lately. It can be played in any combination, it is only necessary to put one into the game (via one Harbinger or Inceptor/Summon History or Clan Impersonation). Piper is also an option for less interaction.
Overall, banning Liquidation won't bring the desired results in these cases, but it will damage many innocent decks.

Here are a few questions for your root cause analysis:
What other MMPA decks are there that don't use Ashur Tablets recursion? Are they successful? Were they ever this successful? Did we ever really have an issue with MMPA before AT?
