Good introductory book on the World of Darkness

Hi everyone,

I've been thinking of picking up a fantasy book to read in my spare time and was wondering if there is a good book for a background on the World of Darkness, its history, clan histories, etc, that would add some flavour to Vtes.

A ton of authors, and put out by White Wolf:

I would recommend:

- Original VTM fiction anthology 'The Beast Within'
- 1st edition game supplements 'The Book of the Kindred' and 'The Prince's Primer'

Not necessarily easy to find, but probably your best entry points to the world of Vampire. From there try the Clan Novels and/or the Revised Clanbooks.
