This is the seventh poll about the "problematic" cards.
After we had a decent discussion about Liquidation now comes the poll. There were arguments against the card and for the card. Please read through those arguments (you find them in the Expansion Sets & Card Ideas subforum) and make your decision about wether and in what way the card should be changed in your opinion.
Liquidation
Cardtype: Master
Master. Do not replace until your discard phase.
Burn seven cards from the top of your library to gain 3 pool.
The poll is up for three weeks from now on. Please tell everybody about it so we can get a most significant result out of a broad participation.
Please keep in mind that the result however is the opinion of all participants which does not mean it is that of all players.
Furthermore the outcome of this poll does not necessarily mean something changes or stays the same.

What if this was an action instead of a master card? It would be:
-blockable
-less exploitable by MMPA decks
-more costly in terms of resources (i.e. instead of gain pool and then take an action or whatever, this IS your action and you are going to have to wait until next turn a lot of the time to capitalize on it)
Here's example card text:
Liquidation
Cardtype: Action
Do not replace until your discard phase.
Requires a vampire. Burn seven cards from the top of your library to gain 3 pool. If the acting vampire has a capacity above 6, this action is at +1 stealth.

In addition to the fact it may be better to suggest this on the liquidation thought post, it's too much of an errata in my opinion.
Erratas, especially without updated reprinting, should not completely rewrite the card, and a type change like that is a complete rewrite for me.

I agree that it is difficult to do errata without reprinting cards. The issue is further complicated by the hesitancy/refusal of many people to accept proxies in lieu of a company making more cards for money. In any case, I didn't see an option resembling what I would prefer on the poll and I voiced by dissent.

Only change I want.is that liquadation is removed from the game after play.
Another ting would be that you receive 3-x pool, where x is the number of liquadations already been played
