Two Q's

First question:

Is there any difference between wordings "equipment card" and "equipment"? More clearly - is there any difference between "Destroy/find/steal equipment" and "Destroy/find/steal equipment card"? Since not all equipment cards are equipment in game terms.

Second question:

What is the term you use for a period in which all players take their turns proceeding clockwise, returning to the first player?

Arcanum Investigator
Type: Ally
Cost: 2 pool
Mortal with 2 life. 1 strength, 0 bleed.
As a action, Arcanum Investigator can burn an equipment card possessed by a minion controlled by your predator or prey.

Canine Horde
Type: Combat
Requires: Animalism
[ani] Strike: 1R damage.
[ANI] Strike: ranged; destroy equipment with first strike.

Dartmoor, England
Type: Equipment
Cost: 2 blood
This equipment card represents a unique location and does not count as equipment while in play.
The vampire with this location gets +1 stealth on any action requiring Animalism or Protean.

See... now - you cannot destroy Dartmoor with Canine Horde, because of the text, but can you destroy it with Arcanum Investigator?

Dartmoor (and other loquipments) are equipments while not in play, and are locations while in play. [LSJ 19971020] .
"Equipment" and "equipment card" are synonyms. I'll add it to the Review, in order to have cardtext coherence.


Regarding the second question: This lapse of time has no name in VTES. Cards use "until your untap phase", mostly.

Yes they are locations while in play, but above example considers type of card ( action, equipment, retainer, reaction) rather then type of equipment ( weapon, location, vehicle). In cases where actions are not supposed to work with loquipments, card text states that clearly. Thats why I bolded Dartmoor text - that text makes difference between equipment and equipment card stating that locquipment stays equipment card type, but loses equipment status. Pnly Living Manse has different type of text.

There are many confusing examples.

Dartmoor isn't an equipment while in play. It's a location. (also notice: it isn't an action card neither). You therefore can't burn it with Arcane Apraiser (which can only burn equipments [== equipment cards], not locations.)
