Secure Haven versus Edged Illusion

If I have a vampire with a Secure Haven and a vampire without a secure haven,and my predator performs an Edged Illusion at superior, then what happens?

Both your vampires (as well as any other ready minions you control like Mylan or Carlton) get shot in the face for 1.

Edged Illusion is a action directed/targeted at a Methuselah - it's effect is to do 1 damage to every minion controlled by the targeted Methuselah.

Secure Haven does nothing in this instance, since its protection only extends to actions directed at the minion that Secure Haven is on.

IANFLZD, but Superior Edged Illusion targets the methuselah, not the minion, so Secure Haven should not help.

The minions are the targets.

And then several practical examples, such as using Hide or Talley, the Hound.
