Dreams vs Dreams was created by simcof
Meth A has a Dreams of the Sphinx in play.
Meth B plays a Dreams of the Sphinx.

Questions:
1) Can Meth A tap his own Dreams to increase his hand size in response to Meth B play his Dreams?
2) If the answer to question 1 is yes and the usage of Dreams is it last (burning it) does the new Dream enter play contested or uncontested?

Is there some evidence to support this? I would agree based on basic rulebook, but then I found this:
>Anyway, a question: if another player already has an anarch convert in
>play, when I influence one into play, can I trigger his ability before
>he contests and goes out of play?

LSJ: So, yes, you can do the Anarch Convert effect (removing the Convert from the
game to make another vampire an anarch) when the card enters play, even if
another Anarch Convert is in play and would contest your incoming copy.

Based on rulebook I would assume, that there is not any window between coming into game and contesting, but if you can use ability of convert, there must be. I simply do not understand, why DotS could not be tapped during this time.

I would be thankful for clarification.

As I understand it, and I could be wrong, the reason the Anarch Convert thing works is because you can order your own effects how you like when they are 'simultaneous'. So when you bring your own Anarch Convert into play, you choose whether to first apply his 'come into play' special or the contesting (which would also happen as it comes into play).
When you play a Dreams, there is no 'come into play' text on it, so the first thing that happens is it checks for uniqueness and then contests if there is another copy in play. There is no time for either player to tap their copy before the contest.

There are no priority to do anything except canceling before.
And there is contest past.
