file Spirit Marionette, The Diamond Thunderbolt and Enkil Cog

Hi!

I was just wondering what happens when:

Saulot (controlled by A) with Enkil Cog uses Spirit Marionette to take control of untapped Anneke (controlled by B) on B's turn for a single bleed. Once the bleed is done, the control of Anneke would revert back to B, but A plays The Diamond Thunderbolt, preventing B of taking control of Anneke again. Is Anneke left with A permanently?

If so, I'll really need to borrow Enkil Cogs from a mate. :)

References:

Enkil Cog
Requires a vampire of capacity 10 or more. Unique.
Only usable when this vampire successfully bleeds your prey (play after resolution). Put this card on this vampire. During any Methuselah's minion phase, this vampire may tap this card to attempt an action. This vampire has +1 bleed.

Spirit Marionette
[OBE] +1 stealth action. (D) Take control of a ready untapped minion until the end of the next action. That minion must bleed your prey unless he or she must hunt.

The Diamond Thunderbolt
Master: out-of-turn.
Only usable when control of another vampire you control is about to change or when another vampire you control is about to enter combat. Control of that vampire does not change, and that vampire gains 1 blood.

Anneke can't bleed. Let's suppose Saulot takes control of Lutz and there is a Madness Network in play.

You play DT. Control doesn't change. Then you note that SM's control effect
has expired (still) and give the minion back.

So, you can cycle the Diamond Thunderbolt, but it won't give you eternal control on Lutz / Anneke.

If so, I'll really need to borrow Enkil Cogs from a mate. :)

Who doesn't, even if this combo doesn't work ;) ?

Oh, fair enough, I hadn't considered that other minions can't take actions, only the Enkil Cogged one. :) And I here thought that I had cracked a new Saulot combo. Twice the fool I.

Also, at first glance the ruling of DT and Spirit Marionette on other players' turns seems rather weird, but - granted - it's pretty clear. The trigger is different from DT's case.

Thank you!

Also, if the Spirit Marionnette'd vampire can't bleed (Pentex, Slave, non-Malkavian/EnkilCog, ...), the control returns after the next action anyways.
So, if you take control of Anneke with Saulot + Enkil Cog + Spirit Marionnette, your prey (or whoever's turn it was) still has the opportunity to perform an action, thus triggering Spirit Marionnette's end clause.
