Superior Auspex reaction cards

Hi all,
Noob question: Assuming I have superior auspex can I play a card like precognition or spirit's touch to gain the helpful combat bonus (manuever, prevent 1 damage, etc) if the person I'm blocking is doing an action at zero stealth? I was just wondering because I know you can't play intercept if none is needed.

No.

You can't play the card at all when you don't need the intercept.
