Ok, another question, tried figuring out how this works but I'm unsure of the timing.

A Sabbat vampire with Sociopath attempts an action versus his Ravnos prey. A Ravnos with Chimestry blocks and plays Illusion of the Kindred. During the resulting combat the Sabbat vampire does enough damage to send the Illusion to torpor. Does the Sabbat get the blood from Sociopath or does the Illusion "poof" before it goes to torpor?

Sociopath
Type: Master
Master: archetype.
Put this card on a Sabbat vampire you control. Once per turn, when this vampire remains ready and burns a minion in combat or sends a vampire to torpor in combat, he or she gains 1 blood from the blood bank. A vampire can have only one archetype.

Illusions of the Kindred
Type: Combat
Requires: Chimerstry
Cost: 2 blood
Only usable before range is determined.
[chi] Combat ends. Move the bottom card of your crypt to your ready region. He or she does not contest any other minions or titles in play. The vampire has an amount of blood equal to half of his or her capacity (round down). Combat begins between the vampire and the opposing minion. Remove the crypt card from the game at the end of combat.
[CHI] As above, but the vampire has an amount of blood equal to his or her capacity.

Yep he gains a blood as the illusion goes to torpor before combat ends if its sent to torpor in combat.

Going to torpor ends the combat and removes the Illusion from the game.

Amaranth can be played before this, for example.
