- Using Troglodytia's special ability on a card (the same player) already Suddened
Using Troglodytia's special ability on a card (the same player) already Suddened
FOR PASCAL: Can we get a confirmation that "after" indicates the timing phase which comes immediately subsequent to the "as played" timing phase?Troglodytia's special occurs "after" the card is played, which is after "as it is played".

No. Canceling Y "as it is played" must be done as it is played, not
after X.

No.
"after X is played" comes (right) after "as X is played".

Is "after" before or after the master cards effect? Like when you use Troglodytia's special to Blessing of the Beast, do you look the hand before or after you put Spiritus cards to BotB?
Name: Blessing of the Beast
Cardtype: Master
Clan: Ahrimane
Burn Option
Master.
Put this card on an Ahrimane with any number of cards that require Spiritus [spi] from your hand (face down). You may look at these cards at any time. This Ahrimane may play these cards as if from your hand. Burn this card when it has no more of these cards on it. A vampire may have only one Blessing of the Beast.
Cards you place on Blessing of the Beast are chosen when the card is played, as its terms. At this moment, you haven't replaced the Blessing of the Beast card (we're a tad before the cancelling-as-played window).

Fully announce each card play =3D You set the "any" when you play it.
EDIT: I didn't get the question right

Re-Edit:
I can't find a precedent ruling for this.
So we'll go with what already exists, and that would be cardtext (in our case, Permanency).
"After X is played" is after resolution of X.
Regarding Blessing of the Beast vs Troglodytia: You look at the hand after the Spiritus cards were placed on the Blessing of the Beast, and after they were replaced.

Isn't this [LSJ 20051230] ? You can't use Troglodytia's special on an Archon Investigation that burns her, because she's dead by the time her special kicks in.
(But you can if it gets Suddened.)

That one is perfectly valid indeed.

I wonder why Google didn't return it with a "Troglodytia lsj" query
