Is Tracker's Mark playable by a vampire going to torpor?

There is an assumption, I have had for many years, which is "a vampire in torpor can not be in combat". From this I get "combats ends when one combatant goes to torpor" or "going to torpor,(triggers) end of round and end of combat, (i.e.) have the same timing".
