If my vampire is target of a deep song rush action, and I don't block it, can my vampire play obedience or is it locked before I can play it? (reactions have to be played by unlocked minions)
The "about to enter combat" window is kind of confusing.
Name: Deep Song
[KoT:C/A2, HttB:PSam2, Anthology:4, SP:DoF4]
Cardtype: Action
Discipline: Animalism
[ani]
Bleed with +1 bleed.
[ANI] Frenzy.
Enter combat with and lock a vampire. That {target} vampire is considered the acting minion in that combat.
Name: Obedience
[Jyhad:U, VTES:U, Sabbat:U, SW:PV, CE:U, Third:U, HttB:PKia3, SP:PoS2]
Cardtype: Reaction
Discipline: Dominate
Only usable {if} this vampire is about to enter combat with an acting younger vampire.
[dom] Unlock the acting vampire and end the action. (Do not lock this vampire if they are blocking.) The acting vampire cannot take the same action this turn.
[DOM] As above, but do not unlock the acting vampire.

Deep Song has a "lock + enter combat effect" (simultaneous).
Obedience is played if the vampire is about to enter combat. "About to" happens before.
So the action is ended by Obedience before the "lock + enter combat effect" happens.
