Visit from the Capuchin VS SteelyTenacity

Dear all,

I have Visit from the Capuchin in play
I play Steely Tenacity.
At the end of the action, may I get back the action card instead of burning a token from the master card?
I am almost sure that I can but I would thank any confirmation.

By the waym I have another doubt about that action card.
If it is cancelled by Direct Intervention for instance, can I get back to my hand by its own card text?
