Baltimore purge questions

Stanislava has on her baltimore purge, renewed vigor (for), and fame. We are in Stani players unlock phase, and purge is about to trigger.

Question: Can Stani player order the effects so that he only takes 3 pool damage from fame and not 4?

ie.
Purge triggers, torporizes Stani;
Fame triggers, Stani player takes 3 pool damage;
Renewed vigor is used, bringing Stanislava back to ready.
Fame doesn't find itself in torpor, so 1 pool doesn't have to be burned?

You can order the effects as they all happen in the same time window "During the unlock", meaning you can order the effects to cause you no more than the 3 pool loss from Fame.

Rulebook says:
You start your turn with your unlock phase. At the beginning of your unlock phase, you must unlock all of your cards. Any cards or effects that require or allow you to do something during your unlock phase take effect after you have unlocked your cards. You may choose the order in which these effects take place.
