Hi, I have a question about the timing in which the blood from Youngbloods is gained by the opponent vampire.
I mean:
Youngbloods (with 1 life counter) is in combat with vampire A, with no blood on he or she.
Youngbloods strikes with Molotov Cocktail for 2R Aggravated
Vampire A strikes with hand for 1 damage
Youngbloods is burnt as they have only 1 life left
Vampire A is burnt as he or she has no blood and received 2R Aggravated.
Is this right?
The question is to know when Vampire A gains those two bloods for killing Youngbloods in combat. I supposse that it would be after combat ends, so there is no chance to gain them as Vampire A is burnt during strike resolution, before end of combat.
Or those two bloods are gained just during strike resolution? Because the outcome of combat is very different this time.
I have look for an anwser in rules questions and the rulebook and I haven't found a clear ruling about this.
Thanl you in advance for your answer.
The cards are:
Name: Young Bloods
[Third:R]
Cardtype: Ally
Cost: 2 pool
Unique mortal with 3 life. 2 strength, 0 bleed.
The Young Bloods can burn 2 blood from a locked vampire with a capacity less than 8 as a +1 stealth
action. If a vampire controlled by another Methuselah burns the Young Bloods in combat or as an action, he or she gains 2 blood.
Artist: Abrar Ajmal
Name: Molotov Cocktail
[Anarchs:C, SP:PwN3]
Cardtype: Combat
Ranged strike: put this card on this minion; it becomes a weapon equipment that can strike: 2R aggravated damage, not usable the round it is put in play. Burn after use or at the end of combat.
