file Enhanced Coagulant and Allies

Enhanced Coagulant was revelaed recently, and its text states the following:

Strike: 3 umpreventable damage and put this card on the opposing vampire; it becomes a card with "Cards requiring a Discipline cost this vampire +1 blood. After this vampire successfully hunts, burn this card".

So when you strike an ally with it, you just do 3 unpreventable damage and ignore everything else? Or is it non-effective in allies? Some people in the Brazilian community seem to be confused about the wording.

Basic rule of thumb in VTES is that you cannot attempt that which you cannot do.

Since you can't put the card on the opposing vampire I suspect you cannot target an ally with it in the first place.

The card uses the word 'and', so both elements must be possible for it to be playable as far as I can see.

Correct. Same as a "burn the opposing ally" strike wouldn't be legal against a vampire.
