Hi there,
I have a couple questions re Sonja Blue 's handicap, which allows the Predator of Sonja's controller to move her to his/her ready region. If I get it right, Sonja may move around the table, since her ability applies each turn, when given controller's prey turn is about to end, the controller's predator can play 1 pool and take control of her right? Example (3 players table):
- Player A puts Sonja in place.
- During Player B's (A's prey) discard phase, Player C (A's predator) may pay 1 pool to take over Sonja.
- Next time around when Player A is about to discard, player B would be able to pay 1 pool and move Sonja from Player's C ready region to B's, right?

Besides, in the event Player A would pay a card that prevents the control change (e.g. The Diamond Thunderbolt ), can Player C (the Predator) pay 1 pool a second time to still take control? Or does that ability only trigger once per turn, hence after "cancelling" the move, the Predator may not attempt to take over Sonja once again in that very same turn?

Thanks in advance for the response!

»During your prey's discard phase, your predator may burn 1 pool to move Sonja to his or her ready region.«
This effect follows the »During X, (someone) (may) do Y« pattern, so the predator can try it only once a given discard phase.

Yes, that could indeed happen.

Yet, more likely, Player A will try to put a new copy of Sonja Blue into play, because of the following ruling:
»When contesting her, the new copy provides 4 pool, then the old copy is removed from the game (for leaving play due to contest). The new copy remains face down, out-of-play, ready to be turned face up during her next unlock phase. [LSJ 20070829-2]« ;)

Thanks Hakuron! Both responses are clear and as expected.
Indeed, already aware Player A may put a second copy in play, ousting the first one :). Just trying it out.
