..and I do already see a potential slip in my reasoning (thank you, meds!) To meet the definition of inflicting, it might not be sufficient that the effect causes the damage and that the damage is suffered. "Inflict" might be better interpreted as causing the suffering as opposed to causing the damage itself, i.e. as being the delivery mechanism of the damage rather than as being the source of the damage. I see both interpretations as viable -- asking for clarification.

Aim. Only usable as this minion chooses a strike. A minion can play only one aim each strike.
If any damage from this strike is successfully inflicted on the opposing minion, they take +2 damage from this strike, and they cannot press this round. They can discard two combat cards to cancel this card as it is played.
The strike is inflicting damage, not Target Vitals. Target Vitals increases the damage inflicted by the strike, it does not inflict damage by itself.
