Contest confirmation needed

Dear all,

I would need two confirmations here please.
My Vampire A has a unique equipment.
Later they become contested.
Later another player plays that same unique equipment.

1/ Could you please confirm that unique equipment goes to contest while Vampire A is contested?
2/ Could you please confirm that I cannot play that unique equipment on another of my minions while my Vampire A is contested?

While vamp A is contested you still have to pay for contest of the unique equipament, you have two contesta to pay here

You can't play a second copy of the unique equipament because, by rulerbook, you can't contest with yourself, but another player can play and contest the equipament with you two guys already on contest

Contesting:

Unique cards on contested cards are out of the game except with respect to being contested. They are contested as normal, should the need arise. [RTR 19951017]
Incoming copies of contested cards do not enter play prior to being contested. Any effect the new copy of the contested has for being in play is not activated prior to the contest. [RTR 20030519]

... You cannot control more than one of the same unique card at a time, and you cannot voluntarily contest cards with yourself (if some effect would force you to contest a card with yourself, then you simply burn the incoming copy of the unique card). ...

Thanks a lot for those confirmations.

Maybe the old ruling from RTR 19951017 may enter the rulebook for Contested Cards. I think it is far more than just an acñaration.
