file Confirmation needed about ousting & contesting cards

Dear all,

If I amd ousted, I understand that I have to yield any contest on my cards.
So, could you please confirm what happens when player A is ousted if I was contesting one of their unique location with my "Political Seizure"?

1. I get the control of that Location and then the player is ousted. I would choose that option because you can bum the Priority Contract to get 3 pool in that window.

2 Nothing else happens before your next unlock phase. The player with who I was contesting the location has been ousted, there are no card to contest and no location to get control of.

Relevant cards' text:
Political Seizure:
Choose a location controlled by another Methuselah. This card contests the chosen location as if it were the same card, even if the other location is not unique. If the last copy of that location would be yielded, instead burn this card and take control of the other card, face up.

Priority Contract:
Unique contract. Trifle.
Choose a ready Banu Haqim you control and put this card on a minion controlled by your prey. The chosen Banu Haqim can enter combat with the attached minion as a +1 stealth Ⓓ action. If the attached minion is about to leave the ready region, you can burn this card to gain 3 pool.
[ANK 20180129-2] Can be burned to get 3 pool when a minion leaves the ready region because his controller is ousted.

Thanks in advance,
Rémi.

Short: 2.

Long: Note how Political Seizure refers to specifically yielding the last copy of the location. Yielding per rulebook is a thing that methuselah can choose to do at specific step during their turn. "Instead of paying the cost to contest the card, you may choose to yield the card. "

See Praxis Solomon for example of a card that enables yielding outside the usual steps.
Name: Praxis Solomon
[Jyhad:V, VTES:V]
Cardtype: Political Action
Only usable if at least one card is contested. For each contested card, choose which Methuselah should yield. Successful referendum means that the chosen Methuselahs yield as you selected.
Artist: L. A. Williams

Note how rulebook does not enable yielding when methuselah is being ousted, instead "If you are ousted, all the cards you control are removed from the game." is the only reference. If they wished it to behave mechanically similar to priority contract, they would have worded it in the vein of the old obedience's "is about to". Resulting in "last copy of that location is about to be removed...". Instead they wished to tie it to contest mechanics thus enabling praxis Solomon shenigans while disabling ousting ones. As it saw POD release with same wording that's clearly the modern design intent for it as well.

Hello,

That is how I have always played that card. Thanks!

Maybe un short line could be added to clarify that a ousted methuselah does not "automaticly yeld" their on going contests, at the end of this part of the rulebook for instance:
