Event Calendar was created by Adonai

When looking to enter/review events for 2013, I noticed that the drop-down for years doesn't allow 2013.

Any chance of getting that updated?

Regarding the Event Calendar , "2013" was not showing in the drop-down menu because there was no event scheduled for that year in the database.

I successfully registered a test event for 2013 and had no issues.

Regarding the event registration , you are free to enter any date of your choice for your events in the "Start time" and "End time" fields.
