Currently all the tools for editing your own message are missing from detailed(not quick) reply. I hazard a guess that this is related to fixing the topic post issue...
edit: Oh and attachments don't work. Clicking the button does nothing.

The code still works as evidenced by my link, but the tools are missing from the UI.

What a great and constructive reply. I expect nothing less.
However, to be more accurate, the problem exists in google chrome specifically. I tried Firefox and page works ok there. I am currently not aware of any chrome settings changes or applications that would mess with this in my browser.
On chrome, there is an uncaught error on the page
upload.main.js:7 Uncaught ReferenceError: imageheight is not defined
at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (upload.main.js:7)

at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery.min.js?78b6ee1e6760f76e1a6530c080718a15:2)
at Function.ready (jquery.min.js?78b6ee1e6760f76e1a6530c080718a15:2)

Sir, you reported several problems.
I checked that I had neither.
You might notice that in my post there is an attachment included as well as the message has been edited. Both of which were problems you reported. Thereby I drew the conclusion that the obvious culprit is your own babbage engine,
Apparently helping you out is somehow wrong.
No need to be a sourpuss about it!
Nowhere in your original post did you mention anything about having the problem with Chrome only. I wouldn't know the Chrome situation since I don't use that browser to log here and after your last, extremely grateful and happy, reply I'm not feeling inclined to further waste my precious time in trying to help you out.
G'day, Sir!
