Is there an option to set the default of the "subscribe" checkbox to blank?
I noticed that I happen to forget to uncheck it regularly and my mailbox fills with notifications... :pinch:

I'm afraid that's not possible. Your choices when you forget to check that subscribe into blank are these:

1) In the "Profile" go to "Forum" tab. There you should find a button "Unsubscribe All".

2) Set your e-mail account so that the subscription messages are automatically deleted.

Hm, that's pretty unintuitive.
A checkbox should give me the option to "check" it in order to active something.

In forums the "subscribe" checkbox usually defaults as checked. I've made the decision to keep it that way in here as well, but I will consider changing it if many people start complaining about it.
