Sutekh 0.8.0 released! was created by hodgestar
On behalf of the Sutekh development team (of two) I'm delighted to
finally announce the release of Sutekh 0.8.0.
This is the first release of Sutekh in more than a year. The long
delay is due partially to the demise of the White Wolf website (which
Sutekh used as the source of most of its card data) and partially to
the arrival of some significant new features (including a re-written
filter dialog and a new profile system for changing how decks are
displayed).
Sutekh is available for Windows and Linux systems (with RPMs for
Fedora and a PPA for Ubuntu).
Instructions for installing Sutekh can be found at:
* sourceforge.net/apps/trac/sutekh/wiki/InstallInstructions
Sutekh can be downloaded from Sourceforge at:
* sourceforge.net/projects/sutekh/files/sutekh/
Ubuntu packages may be obtained from Sutekh's Launchpad PPA:
* launchpad.net/~sutekh/+archive/ppa
Issues may be reported by emailing .
If you're new to Sutekh or want to read about what Sutekh can do, you
might want to start with the online manual at:
* sourceforge.net/apps/trac/sutekh/wiki/SutekhManual_0_8
Sutekh aims to be the swiss army knife of VTES card management
applications -- we hope you'll give the release a try.
Regards

When I tried to run it on my Windows machine... nothing happened.

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sutekh/ppa
works fine.
but error after that:
$ sudo apt-get update
E: Type 'ubuntu' is not known on line 3 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sutekh-ppa-natty.list
E: The list of sources could not be read.
I'm on Ubuntu 11.04 64 bit
I tried adding it via gui in software sources in update manager, but it kind of hung it. Then after getting out, it couldn't find the sutekh application when i tried to install.

It should prompt you to "Initialise database with cardlist and rulings" when run for the first time.
