Interesting summary of the clan but am a little disappointed that you did not delve into some of the possibilities opened up by certain Samedi vampires. For instance, Genina has aus and CHI and can serve as the base for a Nightmare Curse deck. She is also immune to blood hunts and can abuse Abactor. Group 3-4 Samedi have a decent amount of NEC allowing for Shambling Hordes and/or Chair of Hades to be played.

But you're right, the Samedi do have a lot of potential, despite their obvious flaws. They can generate massive amounts of pool with with some of the cards you mentioned (LMC, Dark Mind, Off-Kilter) and Villein/Abactor/Genina. Many people also underestimate the powerful inherent bleed the Samedi clan have, and tooling up with either a camera phone/retainer makes for a constant stream of heavy bleeds (in addition to Reanimated Corpse) that most decks cannot handle in the long run.

I have not explored Troglodytia yet but she may prove interesting in a block deck, hitting for 2 damage and playing hidden strength/groaning corpse. It just seems like there is more to do with the Samedi than most give them credit for and am quite happy that you dedicated an entire show to a poorly understood clan.

Great work!

nice episode. I'm happy that you decided to present the clan that majority of players consider the weakest clan of all. While I'm feeling the same I agree with KoKo that there is probably more strenght in this clan but not found yet. Maybe this episode will push someone to try them out.
I think you could discuss Josette with more details. She has a very powerfull special. I saw in acion very successfull rush deck with her as a star player.
Just one more note about inceptor. First, thx for reminding me about this card and second, IMO it's at its best when using some disciplines which are otherwise hard to get f.e. obeah/ temporis. It's especially good with scarce vampires when it's very expensive to put more vampires with those disciplines into play. I'm using it in my spirit marionette deck, where, together with infernal pact, I can have three minions able to play spirit marionette at superior with only one salubri.

Hi guys,
Another great episode, thanks for the hard work in putting them together. My cousin is looking at building a Samedi deck and he should find this episode very useful. Enjoy your hiatus, hopefully it doesn't go too long ;)

I've played against one of those Pressing Flesh/Escaped Mental Patient decks. It made for a really dangerous table.
