Don't laugh: I have heard rumors of tupdogs being played like that.

Each tupdog cost at least one pool (the one you put on them). You need at least 15 or 20 tupdog to do the trick - if only because your grand predator gain 6 pool. So you need enough bloat to survive while spending that much pool and enough effective management and such to have all thoses tupdogs in your uncontrolled region.

Then, you need to be able to retrieve a vampire that can actually cast vote in your crypt that already have 15 tupdog, put him into play. Or find a trick to get a ventrue headquarter or such in play with only tupdog.

It seem challenging to make that work reliably Not that I wouldn't be curious if someone were actually be able to pull that off.

That's what you call a "trick" deck, not exactly something that you can count on working all the time. I would say that you could use Tupdogs to cripple your predator and any voters, then call Mark of the Damned. The one deck in the TWDA with Mark of the Damned doesn't do that trick, but I remember someone talking about a Tupdog + Mark of the Damned deck a couple of years ago on the newsgroup.

Depends: do you count backousting one's predator then dying with 0VPs as pulling that off?
