A few stats on the VTES tournament scene in Spain

Since the implementation of the Spanish side ranking in 2008, the Spanish tournament season starts with our National Championship and ends with the last tournament before the next Spanish Championship.

The tournaments listed below are standard constructed ones (i.e., non-draft, non-storyline, non-launch events)

2007-2008 TOURNAMENT SEASON

Tournaments announced on WW's calendar: 90
Tournaments reported: Unknown (I wasn't running the ranking at that time)
Number of players having played at least one tournament: 375
Highest tournament attendance: 75 players
Highest number of tournaments played by a single player: 19
Highest number of tournaments won by a single player: 3

2008-2009 TOURNAMENT SEASON

Tournaments announced on WW's calendar: 57
Tournaments reported: 49
Number of players having played at least one tournament: 374
Highest tournament attendance: 77 players
Highest number of tournaments played by a single player: 14
Highest number of tournaments won by a single player: 4

2009-2010 TOURNAMENT SEASON

Tournaments announced on WW's calendar: 56
Tournaments reported: 61
Number of players having played at least one tournament: 383
Highest tournament attendance (not counting the EC events): 56

Perhaps I could make the ruling that Spanish tournaments not announced on the VEKN Event Calendar will not count for the Spanish Ranking.
